The Approach
A shared service environment for the Finance organisation was developed to reduce process duplication across the organisation. The Finance business processes were re-engineered and incorporated into the new shared services regime. An enterprise resource planning system was implemented which enabled the new shared service centre.
The Outcome
Increased shareholder value by $50 million through cost reduction in the finance organisation.
